Ariana's single, "Problem" was a big hit last summer -you probably know it even if you don't realize that you do! The  21-year-old American singer has now released her second album, My Everything, and it's a hit too. Ariana makes pop and R&B music with elements of funk, dance and hip hop. It's a winning combination... The American President Obama and his family are fans and Ariana has performed twice at the White House.

In the 1990s, Nintendo created a new concept, the GameBoy. Kids everywhere wanted to have one. This portable console was the first to have cartridges, so it could play many games, including Mario, Pokemon and Tetris, an addictive puzzle game. Then in the 2000s, a better version of th GamesBoy was invented: the DS. It was the first portable console with dual screens.

What do you know about Halloween?

Halloween is a yearly celebration in some countries. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related "guising"), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted house attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. 

Today's halloween customs were influenced by the Celtics and also by christianity.

The most famous symbols for Halloween are wiches, pumkines, skeletons, vampires, zombies...
Candy apple also represents a traditional food from Halloween.

Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candy or sometimes money, with the question, "Trick or treat?" The word "trick" refers to "threat" to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given.
